I am a genuine person with petrol pumping in my veins and I truly hope you enjoy my content and hope it is of some help to some of you looking to restore/mod these wonderful machines

haha my big mouth has lost me some friends other the years, but I think honesty is the best policy. I will not kiss ass or leverage relationships for personal gain.
I am big enough (physically) and mentally to cope with the blow back and I only ever put people down when its well and truly earned... otherwise I am a lover of all people

Pinky promise

As for the car I don't want to give it all away just yet, but its going to be OEM as much as realistically possible, setup for 90% road and 10% track.
I will also hand her down to whomever deserves her in the next 2 decades... if ever

I'll keep an eye out as I do enjoy these. I've been enjoying dannydc2 recently since he got an E46 M3.

Mine was a 6K car back in Feb. Had 6 months trouble free with mine, until the SMG cog on Sunday!

hahahaha do yourself a massive favour and just hit up Joe Achilles, hes a lovely bloke... if a little potty mouthed. But he is a real petrol head and all round lovely bloke (amazing driver too)... also he is doing very well with 22k subs and counting. He specialises in the M-lites and Alpinas mostly though.
I am a real fan of Joe... in a non-homo way (not that there would be anything anything wrong with that... it is 2017 and all )

(i secretly think Joe may be concerned I like him that way for some reason I'm more partial to Queen B if your reading this Joe or.... B ;-)

We differ by the fact I am a hardcore nerd that documents facts and figures on dyno and using the latest Vbox (all to document on my site), I also do all of my own production work, editing and like to get my hands dirty so I can learn more ;-)

So happy to hear that thank you, I work really hard to try to make them to the point.
I can promise you it will only get more interesting, I have HUGE changes coming up.
Thoug I bought this car for me and so it will be built to my fantasy spec.
Close to OEM though so don't worry :-)
I am very much a believer in OEM+

Thanks for sharing

Some feedback from the first video I watched:

Bearings are not a problem on the facelift cars, you mentioned it affects every M3.

Also, it seems a false economy to buy that dog of an M3 (20k miles unaccounted for, car has been messed with wiring/3 sets of disks and pads in 3 years?!, yet OEM in every way mechanically, rust which only gets worse - you can never eradicate it unless you do a ground up restoration) and spend 10,000 getting it 'up to scratch'

You're still left with a 130k+ car with dodgy history and one of the earliest pre-facelift cars. Worst case, you will need to start fooking around with the engine with that mileage, especially if it has been abused as you say.

Car will still be worth 6k once you've spent the 10k 'sorting it'. Perhaps finding a middle ground M3 facelift at 10-12k would have been a better base to start from with lower mileage - protect your investment a little. (I know you don't want to sell, but still)

I understand this gets you more views and therefore more , as it's more content to document so fair enough. Wouldn't say this is a great way for anyone wanting to start M3 ownership - certainly isn't the most sensible way financially or emotionally!

If anything you are documenting what we all know - to stay away from buying a dog as the initial lower price of the car is far outweighed by the money you'll need to spend to get it to the required standard. Kudos for that

Plus, your first post reads like you have an inferiority complex to the people who have more experienced and successful channels than you.

I learnt myself in entrepreneurship, don't slag off or put down your peers, work with them and gain what you can from them.

Good luck with the channel mate - great to see some E46M content

It might of been the lighting but the exhaust looks to have a blue colour to it when the revs rise.
