Thanks for the input everyone.
Very much appreciated.
Will see what Lepsons have to say and then explore some of the suggestions you have posted here.
Last option is to get new from BMW but this is my last option .
If there are any further suggestions from people who have been here before, I would appreciate it.

I have had my M3 from new and still love it.
I am thinking of a full refurbishment, including paint , rather than buying another car, so if there are suggestions as to who to go to , I would also be grateful.
Thanks

Try calling First Aid Wheels in London who offer a refurb service giving an OEM polished finish and correct painted rest of the wheel with a laquer coat over the whole wheel. They charge £696 rather than £456 for a diamond cut finish. I keep flip flopping between properly refurbing my unmolested 19" rims and putting a set of CSL reps on which would cost less.

How easy is it to polish the wheels?

So would I - I have used them before where they swap your wheels for refurbished ones and the quality was very good. Perhaps if anyone liv es near them they could take a look?

I refer you back to my first post above

FA wheels are excellent. You regularly see Lambos Ferraris in there and they are very skilled at what they do with wheel repair. They're nice and close to me too.

They did a minor kerbing repair (E46 M3) on one of my polished (no lacquer) wheels before and you couldn't tell. This was a few years ago and they said if they lacquered it, there's no guarantee the lacquer will stay on, so I kept it polished bare. They may have changed their processes now though - you will have to double check on their guarantee on mirror and polished wheels that have been lacquered

Good luck!

If you diamond cut the wheels I think you can do that up to 3 times?

Damn you! They look really good! I keep flipping between CSL reps and refurbed OEM.

Lovely polish job Oasis.

I had 2 sets refurbished for mine as I was expecting lacquer lift and needing to refurbish again but it has been 2 years and a combination of the car being garaged and left outside and they are still mint.

So if anyone wants my freshly refurbished set please PM me. But don't expect to pay me something silly like £400!....they owe me a fair bit.
