I'm thinking we could meet somewhere and have a coffee and then convoy over to Huntingdon.

It may be worth going over to have a look at the new set up and talk to the techs at Bartletts, especially if there are any doubts?

In the interests of transparency I have known the company since I bought my M3 (4 years) and they are one of the main advertisers in the magazine that I publish.

I would keep well clear. They didn't appreciate me calling them out for incorrect procedures/methods, breaking £1500 worth of parts on my car and denying they caused them - despite me having a full inspection by BMW a week prior to it going to them.

They refused to release my car unless I paid for something they broke - they didn't even need to touch that part to do the work requested on the car.

If I didn't have a terminally ill mother at the time I would have taken them to court.

I had very similar issues with them. Touching stuff that didnít need touching, breaking it. Then charged me.

Mine went in for RTABs, came out having spent over £1200

It seems there's no interest in going to Bartlett's open day, so let’s scrap that idea.

I'd still like to propose a meet... as I'm missing my crew!

Let's change the date to further into January, or even February.
I’ll have a look and see if I can find a venue where we can see the cars from indoors (in case its really cold).

Any suggestions are welcome.

Just getting back to the Bartletts open day, I am going, if anybody else feels like a drive, look at some cars, drink coffee etc, I'll be there about 11 am.

Sparky that place looks great, but is a 130 mile round trip for me. Thank you for the idea but I'll leave that to you northers to arrange a meet up there and I'll try and sort one a bit closer to Cambs.

UPDATE:

Alright, I've got a friend pestering me to go to this place Sparky, so - IT'S ON! I'll start a new thread.
