Nope, but it had 54k less miles and wasn't a vert (which never go for as much as a coupe) had more of the expensive jobs done and no rust.

Yournhas had a fair bit of work. IF you find someone willing to buy it I reckon between 6-7k at a push. 180k will be quite offputting for a lot of people. How is the rest of the car I.e. tyres brakes suspension?
Tyres are all Michelin Super Sports with plenty of tread left. It had new front discs and pads last year and all of the handbrake components renewed. Suspension is just standard but all in good condition as it passed itís MOT last Friday. Thereís nothing remarkable about the car as itís a stock E46 M3 but Iíve cared for it as Iím a proud owner!

From your comments the average price seems to be £6.5k.
Thatís not too bad considering itís age and the mileage.

Ultimately value and mileage go hand in hand, despite maintenance and work carried out, to an extent. This is a shame as the OP’s car is probably a better car than half of the 100k £10k cars that are out there!

Would this appeal to someone looking purely for a track car or does mileage play part there too? It's seemingly had some good maintenance work and as long as the engine is still strong?

I would buy the car with any mileage on as long as the price reflects the miles........they are much harder to shift however once they get over the 130K ish mark in my experience.

Well I wouldnít buy this exact car for the track as itís a Cabrio, but if all you need are the drivetrain and the shell, this as a coupť would be great value with the RACP work, pump rebuild etc
