Yes. Depending on the backbox you’ll be fine. I run a full Supersprint system, decats, non res centre section and a street system backbox. Fairly raspy and loud but 0 drone.

Hi, as stated zero drone increase. But defo rasp increase under load. Also adding some nice overun tone to the exhaust. They free up the engine a fair bit too.

I’ll have a set of resonated scorpion decats up for sale soon if your interested. They haven’t done many miles due to lack of use. PM me if your interested

Craig.

I’m on GSR too. Have been for about 6 years. And it never ever gets boring! It’s well balanced with the exhaust mods I have fitted too.

Feels great, pulls very well all the way to the redline. I changed from a velocity stacks kit to the carbon airbox, so if anything itís a tad quieter!

Thatís interesting dude. How are you finding the swap? Obviously sound is less on the box. And prob feels less raw. But howís the delivery?

The stacks I was running did not have a suitable map so the car felt very lumpy and flat. The noise was incredible however. Iíve been running the airbox for less than a week so canít give a proper comparison unfortunately.

You guys found an easy way of getting it through the MOT? I'd love to fit supersprint decat pipe, and enable all the decat stuff in Maryn's tool - but I don't know how I'd get it through the MOT each year :/

You'll need a friendly MOT station.

Some won't test for it and others will use another car for the emissions test...

Come to Birmingham, wave £30 about and they'll sort you out lol

I'll have to ask around the local mot places. I don't think my usual indy garage does this kind of thing, from what the owner mentioned to me before...

Out of interest did you guys have to get an updated map after removing the cats?

I found the rasp to be too loud, bought the car with a decat and standard rear section. Ended up fitting a Scorpion cat back and standard cat. Much better, granted I never tried to decat with scorpion system so might of sounded amazing.. Guess ill never know

In my case I want to unlock a bit more noise, but I wasn't 100% impressed with the lightweight race backbox from supersprint (which is why I have the sport/race muffler). It also has the benefit of uncorking the exhaust to release a bit more power, and allows disabling all the cat related ECU settings.
