And i would suggest that Smooth may have misheard,

Akra make exhausts fir the M5, M6 and Alpinas, but they are Akrapovic branded.

To be honest, I couldn't give two hoots who makes them, it really is a futile argument.

For this reason.....I'm out...

Davey I'm just asking the question after seeing that video on this thread. Maybe they just had some input in the design which would be nice. I doubt BMW would have a dedicated department to develop the MPE. So someone had to help them. If it was Akra then that's a good thing, If not why would the knob in the video say it.

Just don't know who to believe anymore

I'll probably just get the MPE to save any grief with warranty anyway.

I'd get the Akra MPE is a decent Zorst, but no patch on the Slovenian.

I am not having a go at you mate...dont take it that way...my apologies if it seemed that way.

Dont worry about warranty with any aftermarket exhaust you choose pal, it really will not have any knock on effect to your engine.

BMW do have the capability to design an exhaust pal and the MPE is a good choice if you go for it and have any concerns whatsoever iver warranty

But in short, yes the bloke in the video is a knob!! Lolololol

No problem mate.

Maybe when I actually get my car I'll have to go on a long drive and meet a few of you guys to see what exhaust sound I prefer! I am a boring accountant after all
