Car: F83 M4 MPE
Colour Combo: Sakhir Orange/Full Black Leather with Sakhir Orange Stitching
Default M4 LCI rear lights

How much

Ordered today (whilst down Ocean) as BMW now do a full retrofit kit including wiring loom, gutter trim etc. Full price was £1273.67 with 3 hours fitting on top.

Tried Cotswolds but they could only offer 10% as these are not MPerformance bits. Fortunately Ocean played ball and I managed to squeeze 21% out of them.

Looking forward to my new lights even if I only have them on for a while.

Well done.

However, 3hr fitting! Is it really that much more difficult/involved than I can possibly imagine? I thought it would 5-10mins

I fitted my own.. 3/4 hour maybe?
There is some coding to do as well though, but only 5 minutes on their machine really.

Finally took the plunge John, I know you've been wanting them for a while. After spending near on £1k lately on mine lights are now on the back burner but I so want them done.

They make a massive difference to the look of the car from the rear

It was a real bug bear of mine that the M4 didnít have those lights when I ordered the car. I know others have used Ian but he lives so far from me that when you take into account fuel and lost work time it wasnít going to be cheap anyway. Also as this is a full BMW retrofit kit it will be all under full warranty and Ocean are less than a mile from me.

As the kit now includes new gutter trim I wonder if any early adopters will have any issues.

I was behind an Audi A3 convertible last week which I didnít like but it had much nicer rear lights. New rear lights and a plate will save me a £30k vehicle change.

Yes but you didnít re-pin the wiring connectors and code them to the car

It is amazing how much lights affects how modern a car looks and also the styling of the car

But I want mine done properly.

Even Cotswold wanted over £300 for fitting and coding.

M tax I suppose.

Yeah Ian's about 2 hours drive from me give or take. I can fit the lights myself I just need to get them coded so when funds permit I think these will be next. Finding an MPE just isn't happening at the moment

Be sure to post pics bud, these will look great against Shakir

Iíve told them Iíd obviously expect a bit more for mine although Iíd be better off selling privately. Itís about 3 months before the Jahre would be here. My thinking at the moment is that these lights might end up saving me a lot more.

Cool looking forward to pics, I need this on my F83 badly.

Also, if you do end up getting a replacement car (based on other post) dibs on the lights
