Default Battery disconnection

Easy all,I'm flying back to the UK from Qatar next week, for 8weeks, I'm disconnecting the battery as temps here hit 50oc which tends to screw the battery over. Can I reattach the battery when I get back and code it with Cody?.....i left my battery in last year and it was foobarrd when I returned, can do without the hassle seen as I bought the car without even telling her indoors!.
Cheers.

Just disconnect the negative terminal. No need at all to code it.

Make sure you have your physical key to open the car again though
