Default A/c Rad

Hi,

I've got a E36 M3 am looking at changing the a/c rad.
Has anybody on here ever changed there? If so has anybody got any info on doing this job.(where it is).

Yes mate, it's in front of the water rad. Drop the front bumper off and you can get at it from there. Remove fan, drop plastic ducts and oil cooler down with pipes connected and you're there. It's bolted from the top slam panel. If you want some more detail let me know.

There are 2 a/c pipes bolted on the rh side with 6mm alllen head bolts, but don't undo em untill you're sure there is no gas in system or it will blast in your face and over your hands. Obviously can be very dangerous in the eyes etc. Put new seals on the 2 pipes if you can get em. It will take you 2/3 hours and of course you'll need a vacuum and regas after. If you get stuck post your ch no and I'll help ya.
