Default Themometer where is it

Just bought M3 1994, got a replacement themometer for the OBC to check external temp. where does it go?

Is it inside one of the vents feeding the front brakes with air?

I Know, I'm dumb

i had an e36 325tds a few years back and replaced same switch, its in the left hand brake cooling duct, take the small panel off beneath it and its easy to replace, mines didn't work straight away, took a few hours, don't know if it needs to calibrate itself or something, theres also a switch on the right side duct for the temp for the windscreen washer jets
