Finally got my bumper and side skirts back. All fitted and looking great.

While the car was off the road i done a few other jobs.

Fitted a solid steering coupler and while the sump guard was off i gave it a bit of a clean.

Before

After

The intercooler had a few marks on it which was bothering me so painted it and fitted all new clamps on the boost pipes.

Next up was my rear lights. They had previously been spray tinted but the lacquer was peeling on the indicators so rubbed them down with 320 through to 2500 wet and dry and polished with Plastx back to oem finish.
I actually liked the tint but didnt was them as dark as before so had them tinted with a light smoke film.

Been busy doing some cosmetic work under the bonnet.

Had a few bolts that were were showing signs of wear and needed a tidy up so all bolts that were visible were removed, cleaned and painted, some were replaced with stainless.

Also the bonnet latch were dirty and had some surface rust so they were cleaned up and painted also.

Strut brace and bolts painted as it had some small marks on it.

Before

After

The 3 bolts holding each mount have been replaced with stainless and the same with the radiator front mount nuts.

It was silver engine enamel Paint.
Latches were removed, cleaned and degreased then given a few coats of paint before being fitted back on, same with all the other nuts and bolts that were painted.

Used black engine enamel on the strut brace.

Waiting on some new parts arriving over the next few weeks so just some cleaning pictures for now.

Snowfoamed with Angelwax fast foam and banana shampoo mix, washed with banana shampoo and finished with some Angelwax AG silver metallic Wax.

Wheels waxed with chemical guys wheel guard, they have previously been coated in Gtechnic wheel armour. Tyres dressed with Meguiars Tyre gel.

Under the bonnet sprayed with Autoglym rubber and vinyl care and left to bake.

This is one of the best build threads here. Your car looks absolutely amazing.
Are you running the charger with the standard engine? Or did you need to upgrade anything for it?

Another Job ticked off the list.

Replaced the rear pipes from back to front using Kunifer (Copper Nickel Pipe).
The pipe is more awkward to work with but won't fatigue as much as copper.

Happy with outcome, got the tank down enough to get the pipe clipped in at every point. Brakes blead and road tested, no leaks anywhere.

Replaced the exhaust hangers while the exhaust was down also, Seems to sit slightly higher now as the old ones were well worn.

Cleaned up the subframe mounts and had a good check of the RACP, all looks good with no cracking which I'm happy about.

Most of the underside removed to access pipe and drop fuel tank.

New Pipe fitted, got it as straight as we could, very difficult to keep straight.
