Default 4.1 ms diff ratio brand new. Used St xta coilovers

Bmw motorsport 4.1 ratio for sale. 730
Brand new in the box, for sale as I don't require this anymore now I have the charger and the car now is plenty savage enough.

St xtas, really good condition, done about 10k miles and a few trackdays. No knocks or bangs etc, only removed them as I decided to upgrade to ast 5200's.
Come with camber adjustable front topmounts 700
I also have some powerflex rear top mounts which I will include with the shocks.
Anyone wanting pics please pm me your number or email as photobucket wont let me upload.

Collection preferred on both items, or can perhaps post at buyers expense.
Located se London, se28

Thanks a lot
Dave

Hi Dave ,

Is the diff complete ready to fit or is it just the parts to fit into a casing ?

Hi rob, yes it's just the crown wheel and pinion that you would get from BMW.

Thanks butch, I really enjoyed them all the time I had them and really can't fault them.
4.1 gives you slightly shorter gears for better acceleration

I went 3.91 and it was one of the best mods I did, really impacts acceleration in a great way. If I was doing it again, I'd go 4.10 as I've had no traction issues even in 1st with the 3.91

Great price and its a part that normally takes weeks / months to get!

Not surprised with a charger you need stock or lower, something like a 3.31 would be ideal with a charger.

Having put in the 4.1 I think I would have been disappointed if I went for 3.91 . I need to drive a stock car again to remind myself of the difference.

I did put my stock one in for a few weeks while I had the LSD in the 3.91 changed, trust me the car felt slow going back to stock, really missed the 3.91

Like I said if I did it again, I'd just throw in a 4.10 as for an NA car it will be fine.

I'm slightly underwhelmed by it to be honest although car is faster. I just had extremely high expectations.

I love it, but mine is an SMG so its quite nice getting through the gears faster to enjoy the shifting the car more.

3rd and 4th gear is fairly mental with the 4.1 , overall top speed isn't affected at all. What would you top out at in 3rd and 4th?

With 4.1 4th is 120 mph now, rather than 140. 175 on clocks is still possible with a bit left but ran out of road. I mean track.

If anybody has a 3.91 and they want this 4.1 instead I'll buy their 3.91. I need 3.91 to meet regulations

Iv just put a 4.1 in mine and feels great, loads more responsive out of corners etc and you just get instant power wherever in the rev range! You are like Tom (Tsinc) on this forum, hes also put the 4.1 in and cant feel any difference??? That amazes me?

Where you get yours built?
