I'm based in Newcastle. The 6th works for me as long as my car is back from having a Vanos rebuild!

I like the hart side idea. That's always a good run. There seems to be half a dozen interested now so we'll go ahead with the he 6th. Where would be a good meeting place to head to hartside from? When I used to go have a bike we'd meet at chester lee street and go from there.

Don't want to put a downer on this meet but bet most will pull out as usual! If the weather forecast is ok I might have a run up but probably meet at the cafe or on route like Alston and set of from Darlington up the A67 to Barnard Castle, epic route in a M3 that is

If anyone come from south of the region I could meet at Dallington and head up that way.

Have a look on the thread in general section mate more interest in there. Hopefully something will happen this time lol. I don't live far from the A69 so doesn't take me long to get to hartside. But I'm willing to meet chester lee street
Then drive up. I done the Alston Barnard castle loop for the first time couple of months ago and loved it.

I've put a post in general and got a lot of interest. I'm trying to get everyone's names/tags together to send a message at once now there is several threads on it. Is there any easy way to do that? Personal message etc?

I think you just need to manually type in forum names in the send box

I'll do that mate and get all the names together early next week. There's a couple on facebook groups shown some interest so see what happens. I'm guessing not everyone will turn up but it's worth a try.

So which route do you plan on taking from chester le street? The Stanhope to Alston road has always been heavy with traffic when i've been on it. The Stanhope to middleton road its great then to alston via high force like Chuckster mentioned. Just wondered what route you had planned?

I'm easy really, when ever I've been out on the bike I'd go from chester lee street - Stanhope - wolsingham - Alston. But I know the high force route is also a great route, its easy changed 👍🏽

I had a brilliant day today, sometimes you don't realise how much until your back at home, feet up, playing the twists and turns back. 👍🏽
