Default What the best price you paid for full set of disks and pads ?

Think I need to to change mine soon.
Eurocarparts offer ATE brand full set of disks with pads. With current discount itís still expensive.I got friendly with one of the guys on the brunch and was offered trade discount which bring price to £635.
Do you think itís a good deal? Anyone managed to get cheaper elsewhere, care to share detailes or code? Thank you

Don’t buy brakes from euro until their 50% brakes / battery flash sale - it’s like once a fortnight. You can work out whether that’s cheaper than your current deal.

Try Cotswold bmw for a quote too - unless you prefer the zinc coated ATE discs

Cotswold BMW worked out cheaper than ECP with their 37pct off sale recently. This is for a set of rear discs, pads and sensors for about £430. £635 sounds like a decent deal and I would have no issue with ATE if it worked out cheaper.

Thats a good price. I paid 600 just for the ATE discs all round during one of their flash 50% sales as mentioned above.

I've bought Euro car parts branded Ate discs and pads before and they lasted 3k miles on a 520d, go dealer and get a good price, don't care what anyone says they are different quality from dealer, I learned the hard way.

Odd, I’ve never had any issues with ATE discs - I’m on the third set of rears and ran two sets of fronts before going BBK.

Current set have seen track time, no issue.

Thanks guys.Looks like my deal is better than possible 50% discount.Ill also give dealers a call and see what they can offer.
Do I really need new sensors(how many?) or can reuse old ones? Also thinking to change hand brake shoes.

Use new sensors, they cost very little from what I remember

Yes buy the sensors. The old ones are brittle and if you've tripped the sensor you need new ones anyway

I'm in the market for a front set and cheapest ATE's I could find are £360 a pair

https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/...er%5B100%5D=VA

Having said that if ECP have a 50% sale a pair of fronts will be £305......
