Default Insurance query

Quick question guys... I've been driving 9 years, had 7 years continuous no claims as of march 2012 (would of been 8 april 2012) until i sold my last car, I had my own van insured in my name also on a separate policy as of March 2010 and have had continuous van insurance ever since, again, making no claims. Would i now beable to say i have 9 years no claims? or am i back to square 1 starting on 0? I'm soooo confused lol

I haven't. Just heard that to have say 9 years no claims you need to have 9 consecutive years of claim free insurance. which i've technically got, but it crosses over between vehicles, ie 7 with 1 and 3 with my van.

Some insurers will not use private cars NCB on Vans and vica versa.

Your private car NCB will still be available as this doesn't expire for a 2 years period (with most insurers).
