Default M3 has aids....help

Hi guys, it's been a while!

So the m3 was put in storage for the winter last year, I then bought a motorbike so it remained in storage whilst it wasn't being used. I started pulling it out of hinernation and instantly regretting it

Battery was flat so I replaced it with a brand new one I drove it for 5 minutes and, I now have DSC,SMG cog, handbrake, tyre pressure sensor and air bag light on - any ideas, I've plugged it in to my eBay wifi reader that usually works but seems to be throwing no codes.

Secondly my odometer cluster lights are permanently on after the ignition is off and keys taken out as well as the doors being locked. It drained the battery last night so I had to disconnect the battery this evening - anyone heard anything like this before or have any ideas of a fix.

any help is appreciated.

As above, pretty sure that those issues will largely/all be sorted with a new battery, or a good charge of the existing battery if it's in otherwise good health

Sounds like either the new battery is knackered (it does happen) or the alternator has given up.

^ Or faults because of brown out going flat? Clean terminals up well and re-attach would be my first. If it cranks and starts battery should be "good enough" Mate's car had this fault reported in Kombi I think that SMG was seeing 9V

Thanks for the input guy, I now have a red battery light on the dash however I've ran the alternator and battery test and everything looks good?

Also would I need to clear the codes or should they go off by themselves once he battery was replaced

Codes will need clearing.

Red light usually means the alternator is fubar.
