Hey. I've been in the States since last Friday so mine might have arrived. I'm back on Sunday so I'll let you know. Cheers.

I'm wondering if they were sent with the wrong postage.

The missus actually took them into post office for me. She told them all packages were the same (which essentially they were), post office looked at one of the packages and said 1st class stamp would cover them.

However, where I'd bubble wrapped and taped card around them some were thicker than others, and having looked at RM website I'm thinking some might be classed as large letter and some possibly small parcel. If this is the case (and it is just a thought), they may be being held at local sorting office if it was considered the postage paid wasn't adequate for the thickness of the package.

If anyone still hasn't received by tomorrow (7 days after postage date) could I ask that you call local sorting office in case they are holding them for you?

Obviously if there was a shortfall in postage I'll paypal over the money to you to cover it as that error would be my end.

I can only guess it has to be an error with the postage paid, 1st class is usually pretty spot on.

If that is the case, my apologies, I just didn't consider it.... just pulled up and sent her into post office to post them and didn't think any more of it. They gave her the stamps and were then put into normal post box.

Above post is correct - Just had an email from another cutter confirming there was a postage shortfall and he had to collect from sorting office.

Sincere apologies to all about this - We should have known better as we used to have an online retail business!

Please give your local sorting offices a call and see if they have the package. They are in small brown jiffy bubble mailers and addressed to: Ref:XX/50 before your home address (XX being your car number).

Please PM me the additional postage charge and I'll refund it back to your paypal accounts - after all I'd added p&p into the price so its rightfully your cash. It seems the standard shortfall charge is 1.50

you may be right- i received a card today asking for 1.50 to deliver something where inc postage has been applied. I sorted it online and they will deliver on Friday. Pity it took them a week realise that that was the case.

Can't blame them - totally my fault. Wasn't trying to skimp, it was just one of those things, pulled up outside, yellow lines everywhere, sent the missus in with 20, 10 mins later she comes out and off we go. (She didn't give me any change either!)

I'm guessing those who did receive straight away were packaged thinner so went through the system as normal.

I'll refund everyone the additional charge.

Ashtray lid would be my choice of location..... looks the most OEM-like position to me

Another cutter also PM'd a few days ago suggesting Ashtray cover - his pic is practically identical to yours!

Still waiting to get my car back - It went to Dealer under corrosion warranty 2 weeks ago and all I've had back so far is a text message linking to a video of the car and someone telling me its very clean underneath and how many mm I have left on the pads and tyres!

Its fortunate really as I picked up half a tonne of sand and cement in the new Mini Cooper S courtesy car. Rear tyres were rubbing and fronts were barely touching the ground - would not have done that in the M3!

I've been away. Postage paid on Tuesday and got it on Wed - very happy, thank you - will probably go for the ash tray.

Just picked up mine from the post office. Looks great.

Have we got a consensus on where to put them? If we all go for the same place it looks more "factory". Ash Tray seems to be the most popular so far.

How well does it attach to the ash tray, with the plaque being flat and the ash tray curved?

Thanks for all the confirmation of receipt guys.

Now all have confirmed, I'll refund the 1.50 underpaid postage over the Weekend.

Picked car up from bodyshop this morning, overall I'm happy with the work.

Just been out with the plaque.... Thought I'd be overwhelmed with options as to where to place it, but ash tray lid does seem the best option.

Has anybody found anywhere better?

I don't think the curve of the ashtray will stop it sitting square - looks like it would fit ok.

Thanks for the refund. Wasn't necessary but I understand why you wanted to.

I haven't attached my plaque yet. Are people happy with the ashtray position?

Not an entirely truthful add - but a cracking price considering the mileage- is she on our list?
