Default Damn - good deal offered - like the M4 - thoughts ?

Been looking at M4's. It would have to be a "curve ball" colour of course, however, I came up against this one, which I do like.... it was not enough to make me rush out on the next train as the car I currently own and this M4 will replace.

https://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/vehicle/2...f-e1ba1e274c2f

Blah Blah later, I have been offered a good trade in, on my now rare V8 with good HPI rates (a little finance goes a long way) but that's not the issue...

I really like the V8 its been a great daily and it will continue to do so, with it being last of the line, loaded, and low miles, and under BM warranty, it has been very special, I have enjoyed every moment behind the wheel and are still very much loving the car.

If I put this in the V8 section I would probably be sectioned, so your thoughts are appreciated ?

If it was my money and forgetting if you do or don't like the colour... no CCB's, not full leather, no LED's, no surround view, its pricey probably going to lose at least 10k in the next year, I'd give it a miss

For me the m4 is leagues ahead of the e92 - I’d get one that’s done most of its depreciating from an enthusiast with the right bits on it

Its no where near the spec of my V8, but, I thought it had a few nice touches, like Carbon inside and out, HK stereo etc.....

If you want an out there rare colour! beggars can't be choosers!

Maybe I need to wait some more, or drive the V8 some more...who knows !!

If it was me....well Iíd do what I done mate, I did not want to spend more than 35k as any more was getting into a different territory of options

I got a one owner mint car with all the carbon pack on - now I like you like changing things I did the must have options

Gts software
2017 software
Bmwp exhaust
Front and rear comp pack arbís
Bmwp coilover kit

All warranty extended and I donít need to worry about depritiation to much as at 35k and the 3k miles a year it will do I canít see them dropping below 30k for a decent example for a while

I enquired about a part ex price today as expecting our second child and was at 30k with 50,000 on the clock

HTH

I donít get all this low spec - these cars are pretty much fully loaded...I could have got one with full leather but it did not matter to me

Hud and hk were the things I wanted with the full carbon pack

Comfort access I find a pain and surround cameras is good if youíre a bird

Saying that itís my weekend car so all I want to do is drive it so that being said Iíve modded to suit my style

If it's just a weekender extras don't matter, BUT price does.

Fuk me boba. Not use to seeing you in this section

My last M4 was poverty spec well it had HUD, adaptive head lights, carbon interior trim and privacy glass but it was a weekend car so the lack of Luxurys didn't bother me. However the only option I did regret not having was full leather, definitely worth it mate go see both.

If it's a daily I agree with the rest you need the extras such as surround view, reverse camera, speed limit display, full leather and led's etc etc

What else is there to add after camera, speed display and full leather though?

There is a Yellow M4 at Sytners Maidenhead. Believe it’s brand new and it’s very light yellow.

Another Yellow at Coopers Reading, been there awhile now and that’s a darker yellow.
