Default M4 not keeping last set modes?

So I have set up a new profile and everything is fine but every time I start up it turns on Sport Plus/Sport/Sport? I have to manually change to efficient/comfort/comfort every time?

How can I keep the last set settings? Or always start with efficient etc?

Cheers

They’re defaulted to starting in efficient throttle, sport and sport mate.
I have my M2 button set to efficient, comfort and comfort for the daily drive to work so usually press this as soon as I start the car.

Are you 100% sure it’s doing the sport+ throttle on start up?!

Sorry, I worded it wrong it starts up in Efficient, Sport, Sport.

I have done what you said already and set M2 to Effcient, Comfort, Comfort and standard HUD.

That’s right then mate.
I don’t like the fact it starts in sports steering and sports suspension tbh.
The sports steering it too heavy when pottering around and parking up etc.

I have done the same so M2 is Economy / Comfort / Comfort which is easier than flicking through the options.

Any ideas why BMW would force you to start like that? I asked Kurai who does the GTS etc flashing and he didnt know and is not able to set it to Economy / Comfort / Comfort.

Has it got something to do with warming up the temperature? Mind you it happens even if you lock your car for less than five min to pay for fuel when its running warm...?

Maybe the default set gives best mpg for the EU statutory mpg test routine.
