We always recommend painted for road cars as it just last so much better in our rubbish UK weather.

Is the painted blue caliper still the same shade as the anodised version?

I had a look on the colour charts but I can't really tell as the finish looks the same.

Do you have any direct comparison photos between the 2?

Many thanks ;-)

Who makes the standard track and road pads please?

Do you have any images of the floating and non floating calipers actually fitted to a car?

Thanks

Hi, The pads are made by Yellow Speed. We always go with the Pagid RS29 in our builds.

The calliper is not floating, it is the disc which is and it is on dowels instead of bolts basically so it can expand with heat.

Sorry I miss typed that I meant rotor

So you wouldn't recommend your own pads?

They're absolutely fine for the road but if you're doing track work and want an affordable pad then we'd recommend PBS

You have 2 pad options on your website though a road option at no cost then a track option for an additional fee.

So are those track ones not up to the job then is that what you are saying or is the track option the PBS pad?

For us in our race cars the track option isn't good enough. So the best thing to do is go for the standard road option and buy some PBS separately.

Thanks
