I took out a policy with AF, but I forgot to mention the forum, it was a great price anyway so I'm not bothered.

Dan - There's a girl at AF called Rebecca McDonagh (Beccy?) who took a lot of time helping me out with my proof of no claims. She had to do quite a bit of chasing around as my previous insurance company were dragging their heels a bit and being awkward, as I'd been trying for the past 6 weeks! Anyway, she sorted it all out for me and I'm very happy with AF because of her service. Let her know she's awesome!..

i think you will need to speak to them.
they are good and cannot fault them but one thing i don't know is how they'll perform in the event of me needing their services....hopefully not but never say never.

I sent a PM to Dan for a quote, got a call, spent an hour on the phone giving all my details. The guy said "i will call tomorrow with a great price", he called the next day and said he was waiting for a few more prices to come in but would be in touch asap, that was 5 weeks ago lol

I'm just about to, or would have already if the office didn't close at 7pm

Got a requote of my insurance for 790, got it down to 525 with Adrian Flux, less excess as well

Just mentioned this forum and Dans name when speaking to a very nice lady, worked a treat

I applied on line through this link and got a quote in September for 308, I then received my renewal from Saga for 392 so rang AF who then told me that as it was now October the premium had gone up to 359, I wasnt too impressed. I rang Saga, told them I had received a quote of 359 from AF and after much negotiating and agreeing a fixed mileage ( it is a second car ) I have just paid 292.14 with protected bonus, must be an all time low for an M3. It does pay to negotiate.

Just wondering if anyone who's taken out a policy using the link on the forum, or has taken out a policy and mentioned the forum to receive discount can let me know either in here, or by PM.

It's just so I can see how successful the run has been so far.

Cheers

PS : If you could also put down whether you used the link or rang up that'd be great.
Hi, used the link last week. It came back with a quote over 1700. Just rang up to ask for my renewal quote, came in at 550 but forgot to mention M3cutters. Adrian flux seem a bit hit & miss at the moment???

Will i qualify for 15% off the quote of 550??
