Default Nurburgring Insurance

Hi Guys,

Anyone ever used insuremytrackday.com? I'm looking into covering 2 of my friends that are doing a few laps each. Including myself with a 10k value the price comes to £268 (inc. up to 4k armco damage) with a 1k excess.

Any reports/experiences with these lot?

Any alternatives you can recommend?

Thanks.

Fine if you are actually doing a trackday. If your just driving the tourist sessions then it's not a trackday.

It lets you choose between a track day and a tourist session. The quote I received is based on a tourist session for 3 people.

It asks you to select that date/s you'll be on track so I assume unlimited but could be wrong. Haven't read the T&C's yet.

I took a look - you can just do whole day as you say - I have some mates who have used them before - didn't test how well they pay out though.

Well yes lol... but my main concerns are crashing due to a fluid leak or another vehicle crashing into me.

I've been a few times before but with my 2 friends driving this time I wanted cover.

Yeah that's what I'm trying to find out I guess... how it goes with these guys if the worst happens.

Just a heads up it's First Party cover only, i.e. your car. Third Party cover is not included, i.e. other cars / people.

I thought it included Armco damage?

I looked into this site before but as pointed out by Paul it only counted of trackdays i.e. private sessions and therefor not "tourist days".

Would be interested to know the conclusion to this as I feel whenever we are over there from the UK we are gambling big

Got my insurance through quote me happy, and there was nothing saying about the Nurburgring like all my other policy’s so would presume they cover it.
