Whats the plans for the raised part of garden? Are you / can you lower it or making it into a kind of raised upper terrace. Maybe room up there for a cabin with a decked area for a hot tub you can push in and out?

My garden is the opposite having a slope down at thbottom of my garden, which sadly can't be filled as there is a stream runs right along the bottom. I need to put mine up on stilts or call it quits and move.
it was pretty much the main reason why i bought this house, as the room on the side was perfect for the garage.

think we will get decking on the raised part, cant lower it anymore sadly without affecting other peoples houses/spending a fortune. shame its so high but at least i got the bit behind the garage flat

Looks really nice! I need to extend my garage too, not big enough for the car and it's not ideal leaving her outside throughout winter

It's been over a fortnight now with no work since the last photo bloody weather. Hasn't stopped raining. Think work is commencing tomorrow.

not sure, got so much going on i can't say.

once the main part of the house is plastered and painted, then the scaffholding can be removed allowing the lower roof to be removed.
then the garage wall can be knocked though, allowing the rafters to be put up.

then the roof to be put on, new floor layed, rear patio finished, lower section of house and new walls to be plastered and painted, garage doors to be installed.

then last job is the whole floor in front of the house is being dug up and stamped concrete to go down. hoping the vast majority will be done by end of october

Top half of the house has been painted, along with the bands on the side, well happy with the colours we chose.

Looking good already.Done almost the same. We had single garage next to our house and extended to a large double. Plenty of space for 2 cars and tools. The best thing is my side door is next to the conservatory so I can see my car while Im eating....lol
