Thumbs up E46 m3 cutters bible

ok bear with me on this one ... on the m3forum they have a maintenance thread sticky full of links to DIY's for inspections, oil change ect ect. It's a fantastic reference point as I'm always losing thread links to useful (oh I'll do that at some point ) DIY's and mods.

Now we have an arsenal of helpful threads from maintenance to mod ect ect

Ie rear csl diffuser install.... intravee install plus updates thread ect ect Craig and his GS airbox the list goes on and on and on

So I suggest we use a thread like this to get all the main threads and information down. Then get a mod or members to obstract all the main links to a sticky which can be added to time and time again.

You get my drift. We will all then have a get reference thread and hopefully stop or help stop the same old threads forming everyday.

NEED YOUR INPUT AND THREADS

get posting then chaps state what its for and the link to the thread. Make sure the thread does what it says on the tin tho.

Iv got loads of threads bookmarked which I think many will benefit from. Anything to stop seeing the same threads that have been answered time and time again.

They had this on FTOOC and it was called Grease Monkey Section. Every `how to` you could think of was in there and it made everything sooo much easier. It`ll work well, good idea.

I agree Jeff its a cracking idea.
When I did my Intravee I found loads of threads but no real step by step guide with photos. That's why I started the Intravee thread and did a guide myself because its such an easy job especially when you can see how to do it.

On GTROC they started a "How to" DIY section and its really helpfull.
Here's a guide I did for fitting an oil filter relocation kit and oil cooler.
http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/153961-r3...tallation.html

And this what the section looks like.
http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/skyline-s...iy-guides.html

Well worth it in my opinion.

I'd love to see a photo guide showing how to remove the rear bumper and change a sensor. Not difficult I suppose, but it would be great to see a few photos.

perfect examples mich and with everybody posting past threads I'm sure we can have a sticky filled with links to all the NEED to know threads.

If a mod can get in on this to neaten it all up. We can start forming somthing that will save a lot of time searching for and also help stop the old repetitive thread syndrome..

I think people dont get that far tbh. If it's smack bang in people's faces it will more likley stop them building a new thread on a topic that's in the list above as most of the answer are already in there.
