Default Any interest in free coding for e46 e92 f80 e60 f10 M cars in the Derby area?

The next free coding day will be Saturday 15th July from 9am onwards....

So... We've been thinking about doing this for a while now, the workshop is very busy in the week and we dont often have time or demand for coding.

Even though saturday is my day off i find myself in the workshop working on my own car or helping out.

Now, were getting fed up of being in the workshop on a saturday and only seeing tractor engine'd things turn up with M badges stuck all over them.

So in an effort to work on something we enjoy seeing and working on we have been thinking about offering free coding Saturdays for real M cars only... all E (46 onwards) and F series cars are codeable

I really just wanted to gauge interest and see if there was any demand for such things?

We are a fully qualified team and an authorised licensed BMW specialist workshop.

As for coding we are proficient with NCS, E-SYS and P.A.Soft we even have a Carly lying around for the simpler jobs!

General coding would be 100% free on Saturdays provided its an M car of course - CSL rev matching and innertia update and other DME modifications are available but would carry a small surcharge (20) to cover licensing costs.

Goes without saying we have all the necessary equipment for safe coding including genuine BMW ICOM's, MOST interface, chargers, stable computers etc

So would anyone be interested?

EDITED: ADDED CODING OPTIONS TO OPENING POST

The workshop is called BMWMAN and the postcode is DE75 7RJ

Sounds like a nice idea! Be good for people that don't have easy access to this sort of set up.

Would definitely be interested if I were in the area.

Can't argue with free. Paid a nice chuck of cash when I had me e92 coded so I can't imagine you would be struggling to find interested M owners.

So it seems like there should be enough interest to at least fill a couple of Saturdays.

You may be required to put the kettle on while you're here though!

Just to give people an indication i should be available for a few Saturdays in the new year so if anyone is around on the 7th, 21st and 28th you're welcome to drop in and get coded! If you have an e46 M3 then you're welcome to just turn up at your leisure any time between 8.30 and 2.30ish... Obviously it'll be first come first served so there may be a little waiting around but you will get coded, on the plus side we have a kettle and plenty of clean cups so... every cloud.

If you're a lucky devil with an F series then best to give me a PM or post in the thread some time during the week prior to the Saturday just to make sure we'll have space and time to avoid disappointment or a wasted journey.

Could always set it as an official meet then drive out into the peaks as well so it is worth traveling?

Generous offer, thanks! Will try to make it over.

Maybe you'd like to give a suspension fitting demonstration as well?!

Is there a list of coding options for the e46 somewhere?
