Default M3 misfire code questions

Evening All,

A friend has come to me to use my code reader due to a EML light.
photo of the code below:

we have moved the coilpacks around and unfortunately that isn't the issue.
Next i can only assume spark plugs or injector without fearing the worst.
Any suggestions welcome.

cheers
Alex

Do you have inpa? The description sounds vanos related but that sounds strange to cause a misfire on 4.

Hi Olly,

we check the plugs and look like one of them has been stripped at somepoint and the thread has been re ground along with a cap on the plug to make it fit.
Could be our issue.
