Default wheel cleaner- acid or non acid?

hi guys.. i want to buy a good wheel cleaner..

ive seen a few on ebay, so my question is- do i go for acid based or non acid based?

if the wheels make any kind of difference, they are csl reps.

i just want to spray the cleaner on.. leave for 5mins and jet off

Most wheel cleaners are acid or akinlne based to some extend. Acid wheels cleaner are pretty fine to use in the right hand. Like anything tho if you don't know how to use chemicals correctly stay well away. Post the product your talking about so we can help advise.

Non acid is just caustic. As said above if you are fussy ph neutral is what you want. I personally use the caustic cleaner but it does take its toll on the wheels.

Non acid with with any type of finish like OEM 19" on the E46.
It just causes problems.
