Default BMW Park Lane -service

Considering switching to them and away from Cooper for service work, does anybody have any first-hand experience of them? I seem to remember they're rated quite well for M car servicing?

James Dowie is the man there. Very helpful. Top class service.
Grant Davis i have used him as service advisor before and good customer service.
Jamie BMW Parts department (Classic division) a shameless shout out for him as he had sorted me some good deals on parts.
I use Park Lane Battersea.

I think I know Grant. I dealt mostly with Chris Mapulous(sic). Good blokes and quite refreshingly down-to-earth.

Overall I was satisfied with the service from Park Lane Battersea.

Thanks all. Getting sick of being ignored by the service teams when my car is in, and it being there for days without any comms apart from the odd text, even if i ask for people to call me back. May give Battersea a go!

Cheers!

I believe Park Lane charge more than other dealers (like BMW Borehamwood for example).

You’re better off with a good independent imo.

In terms of independents in South West London - I use Turner Automotive (http://www.turner-autos.co.uk/) - Barrie and his dad are both super gents. They are based a short walk from Twickenham station so easy to get back central on trains to Waterloo if required. Barrie is ex-BMW UK and really knows his stuff.

I have also used BMW Battersea (used to live around the corner from them) and found them to be good sorts, particular for a dealer

I'm still under warranty currently, so sticking with dealers for now, but thanks!

Chris Malloupas took care of my warranty claim (BMW Stewarts Rd aka Battersea I think which is the service site of Park lane).

Really good guy spent alot f time talking to him. Very busy though always running around lol
