Itís true
It was my set.

They were replaced with no hassle and I fitted the new set in 10 mins with no issues! Change the front end of the car so much!

Anymore pictures of cars with these fitted? I have so far avoided this mod for fear of the dreaded inner ring looking SO much brighter than the outer which I think looks a bit naff.

Same reason here too. Also most I have seen including the expensive Lux 180 one's, the outer ring struggles in daylight as it is barely visible.

The lower power rates/less led versions do struggle

Ours are pretty powerful

As you can see from Scutch's above- looks nice

TBH you will always have one brighter than the other (to some degree)due to the bulb sitting above the inner light tube and the light has to travel (via light tubes to the outer ring)

I've had no complaints so far so must be to everyone's satisfaction

It’s miles better than OEM. Not just for lighting but appearance wise too.

If that helps with comparison, took that after putting one in. I think the photo is slightly more sunlit on the OEM side - so the new side looks a little brighter in the photo.

You don't notice until you add them how much newer it makes the car look. Maybe the only downside is they might run cooler (maybe i imagine it?), and and so i seemed to get more condensation, or it was harder to clear, but this is a known problem.

I would get another set in a heartbeat.

hth

i was just a little disappointed with the LED's (no offence intended).. i was expecting and hoping for both the rings to be fully lit up and clearly visible. the inner ones - YES, the outer ones - not much difference to OEM bulbs. but 100% improves the front end of the car. just a shame there is no way of having the outer rings light up any brighter

however... if you kneel down to the same level of the headlight, it looks like this

looks very nice, but whilst driving or looking from any other angle, the outer ring looks lit up in patches

Is it normally an led or is it a bulb oem?
