Thought I'd be the first to post pics of the all new Storm Motorwerks SMG ring.

Along with the V3 shifter I think it looks fantastic.

Thanks Bill

Very nice!

What do you think of the fit with the curved base?

That's about as hi res as it gets Bill. I took it on my iPhone whilst the car was in the garage.
I'll take a better one with my camera today and email it over.

The fit is perfect mate and I'm dead chuffed with the ring. I'll be contacting you In the near future for the other items you do mate.

Have you had any thoughts of my door pull idea? That's the only chrome that's left in the car and I has to go!!!

Although I haven't placed my order yet (I'm holding out for the V4 to be released until I decide which to opt for) the service I have received from Bill has been fantastic!

I'll get my photos uploaded once ordered and installed.

No pics of them in the car yet as its booked in next week for the subframe repair work under warranty and there is no way these are going to get christened by their grubby mitts!

You can't beat Stormwerks mods , bils work is second to none and turns the really nasty plastic offer from bmw into something that you would expect from the likes of Bentley.

Not feeling your addition draped over it tho

I would just like to say a big thank you to Bilal at Stormwerks for the epic design of his new SMG paddles which I purchased two weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be the first customer and also lucky enough to have him fit them and even when I first saw them in the box I knew that these were going to be something special and added to the rest of my special Stormwerks collection, and after fitment and use I was correct.

The brushed stainless steel look just oozes quality and the design makes the OEM ones which BMW must have ploughed big bucks into look like something you would find on the shelves of Halfords and on having driven the Emster ( my name for the M) home on the motorway and going up and down the box like a call girls knickers I can safely say that the Neoprene feel gives you the feeling of so much more control of the paddle than the OEM ones could ever do.

For anyone thinking of buying these I can safely say that you will not be disappointed and I give them 10 out of 10

Well after a long wait got the thumbs up the Titanium illuminated paddles were ready :-) i paid on xmas eve- paper work done and despatched, arrived 28th Dec (again superb service yet again!!)
Ive already got everything else
Titanium SMG gearknob
Titanium gear surround
Titanium handbrake
Titanium satnav buttons
Titanium cigerette blank

So this was the final piece :-)
I set about removing the old OEM paddles- (this is easy as id just removed them when i fitted my Alcantara steering wheel a couple of weeks ago :-))
The paddles came extremely well packaged as per usual and i wiped the paddles down and refitted (after fitting the 2x padded squares inbetween the torx screw fixings as per the instructions :-)
All went perfectly, so i started her up and held my breath that i hadnt disturbed the microswitches inside the wheel (didnt really fancy removing the wheel again!!)
And all was good :-)

VERDICT :- all i can say is WOW what a beautiful piece of engineering- superb quality and feel- they mould into your fingers and are a MASSIVE improvement over everything else on the market- and i love the illumination- suttle yet effective :-) Well done Bilal :-)
Anyways- heres some pics.....

BEFORE..

AFTER.....

Showing the Illumination....
