maybe i am speaking out of turn the first 2 years 2001/2002 be four the face lift the badge was part of the trim why do away with it it was only on the car four 2 years i have a 2001 smg with the smg badge it just shows its one of the early ones

SMG badge measurements are 42mm in length, the S & G are 10mm high the M is 15mm high, it has a slight left to right slant...........if that helps..

So will this be silver with black stamp or etched in? My personal preference would be titanium plate with logo and smg etched in

Yes - there are 2 options for the titanium etch. Either it will be dark - or a yellow/gold colour.

Probably around 7 for brushed and 10 for the Titanium.
