Always leave it with a full tank as it stops condensation forming on the sides of the tank and mixing with the petrol

One extra ball ache for the thieves imo- if the car is stolen the last thing they want is to nick it and then have to go straight to the fuel station! Esp if the tracker is activated n a copper is on to you!
Just my way off thinking!

Here's some photos I took today. Titanium paddles, handbrake, SMG gear stick and gaiter ring.

Here's a quick review...

The paddles arrived packaged in a really well presented box which gives you the impression that the contents are going to be something a little bit special.
When you open the box you'll find the paddles are securely held in a foam block to prevent any damage in transit. Fitting them took a few minutes and was really easy to do.
I went for the titanium plated ones and they ooze quality and compliments the rest of the car's interior. Under close scrutiny I couldn't find any imperfections.
They make the standard SMG paddles from BMW look cheap. The neoprene backing actually makes the process of changing gears pleasurable. They have a nice warm feel to them even during the winter weather.
The illuminated + and - gear shift symbols glow constantly and match the rest of the cars interior lights. They don't glow too brightly so they won't distract you.

The SMG gear knob and gaiter ring match the quality and look of the paddles. The gear knob has some weight to it and the engraved gear selection markings look great.
This with the gaiter ring make the chrome looking OEM parts look cheap.
I really like that its securely held in place by a couple of small screws, makes removing it a simple job. The OEM one is just pushed on and its not easy to remove.

The handbrake handle again matches the quality of all the other Storm Motorwerks parts. Like all the other parts being solid steel it has some weight to it.
It's simple to fit again with a couple of screws to keep it securely fitted. The are some plastic O-rings inside which stop the handle from rattling or moving about. The button simply goes over the top of the plastic one.
The leather matches the interior and adds a nice tactile feel to it. As you'd expect it makes the OEM handbrake look a feel cheap in comparison.

All parts are well packaged and included a couple of allen/hex keys too.

All in all I fully recommend Storm Motorwerks accessories. They're extremely well made and lot of thought has gone into the designs. They are like a breath of fresh air for the interior of you car.

I can't wait to get all of my storm items, this thread is making me drool!!! Quick suggestion would be to get rid of the remaining chrome some door handles and perhaps even the smg lettering with the titanium option although this will be something of a challange I'm sure, also storm pedals would interest me

I was wondering if someone was going to notice that.
I'll see what I can do. Did you just have to remove it and push it back on again?

Cool cheers I will give it a go. Hopefully I can do it this time as taking the airbag off is a real pain in rear. I ended up getting my indi mechanic to do it last time.
I can never find the release spring on the right hand side.
