More information here.

Review about Evolve Stage 2 ECU Tune + Servotronic mapping

Most of our remaps are carried out on cars that either already have primary cat delete or we carry this out at the same time. Combine it with a map and this is the best way to release power and torque throughout the rev range on this car.

Cutters price is 499 inc VAT if you come to us - includes pre and post dyno. For the remote tuning cable and tune it is 655 inc VAT plus 10 shipping. The GTS DCT Upgrade is 125 inc VAT.

Hi!

I'm interested in getting a full package deal on my e92, remap, servo tronic and gts dct software... is there ano further discount for having it all done at the same time?

Also I have the two pipe mod, and I understand the de-cat will release more power from the remap, but do you have any idea of what dB the car will be? I'll need it to be 102 or less for trackdays...

Thanks

The prices are already discounted so no further discounts for doing them all at the same time.

We haven't measured the sound level so can't comment on that.

Here's a question:
At the moment my std 2013 e92 M3 is absolutely flying.
But the majority of the time it performs slightly less.
I can't pin down what the magic combination of factors is that causes the car to suddenly perform to its maximum...outside air temp, fuel supplier (usually Shell 99), the music I'm playing!
So what is causing the ECU to go balls out at the moment but not always?
Is it possible to code the ECU to always give maximum performance without changing anything else?

The ECU will adjust ignition timing and AFR based on various conditions such as inlet temp, coolant temp, fuel quality and barometric pressure.

You wouldn't want to change those compensations maps as they are there for safety.

Indeed.
However the effect I've seen over the past 8 years of ownership is more random than increased performance on a cool high atmospheric pressure day on high octane fuel.
Its an elevated level of performance that lasts for a period of days or weeks....it often starts with a refill of fuel even though its mostly (but not always) Shell 99 ron.
The car may go months performing at the same rate then suddenly decide its going to perform as if it picked up an extra 30/40 bhp.
I've had the same effect on both E92 M3s I've owned and with different ECU software versions...although the latest post 2012 software version is noticeably better than early versions.
Its like the ECU has reset to default settings which produces maximum power, then gradually "adapts" various settings which reduces power then for some reason resets to default and the cycle starts again.
Its the trigger that causes the increase in performance that interests me...all I can think of is that a tank of lower octane fuel followed by a tank of Shell 99 may cause the ECU to reset back to default (or whatever mechanism is the prompting the increased performance).
