He is right about needing the heated seats so that you don't have the missing switches on the switch bar!

I spent ages finding a car with the full set of options, does make the panel look complete IMO

I don't think I could ever sell my e46 m3.....I'll regret it massively if I were to....as prices can only go up for good examples. ....and it's just so more captivating to drive than pretty much all newish performance cars

I sold my first silver grey m3 then came back, (wanted a manual anyhow) just missed it so much! especially when i saw one on the road and i didn't have one anymore, you don't realise how good they still look when you look at them every day

This is exactly what I fear will happen to me if I do sell.

I did exactly the same. Sold mine and regretted it. Iíll never sell my current one. It seems to get better with age!

Agree.. Saw a Wendy house on the M6 yesterday and thought how good unmolested examples still look.

Original video is like 5 years old I'm sure? Remember watching it back then, lusting after an E46 M3 as I had done for years...

I think it's brilliant how they're still be compared with modern sportscars and for example still able to keep pace at trackdays and one the 'Ring even though they're 20 year old tech now

For me they have always been a fantastic looking car with those arches and bonnet and even that little kick on the fuel filler cover. Some cars attach themselves to you and you cannot let them go; this is one of them. I've had my 993 for just over 18 years and I suspect I'll be keeping the M3 for as long.
