I love my silver/grey leather. Doesn't get as hot as black in summer, and doesn't show up every bit of dirt like white. Although i do have black everything else, so it's not oppressively grey. Conversely, i'd never touch a car with red leather, so horses for courses innit.

That transformation is really good. First time I've liked a grey interior on an E46!

Mine was all grey, swapped a few bits to black and it looks much better.

I've grey in mine but I think it suits the Techno Violet. Black makes the car look abit dark especially when the exterior can look almost like carbon black ok a dark day.

Tempted to do what Fordfesta has done though as it breaks it up nicely and it would all work better when u have the recaros and cage in if for trackdays too

I have grey in my coupe and I like the idea of having a black carpet. Shame it didn’t come from the factory with black. Is it a big job to change the carpet?

The only good thing is it's a light colour so should be fairly simple to re-dye to a different colour.

That's exactly how the grey should have come from the factory. I would have that in mine. Discounted so many blue M3s because it seems like grey is all that people ordered in the 00's (especially Laguna)

I really want to make a similar thing with an LSB interior, would love a set of door cards to brighten it up a bit (keep the seats black) but struggling to find decent ones tbh.

I've all grey and then the brushed alloy trim. Thinking of doing mine like Fordfeistas though as will work much better with my spgs and cage when fitted too.

The black dash is much better too as mine with its half grey one, reflects on the windscreen so annoying if on track with abit of a glare.

I have silver with grey and I know these two are not that popular. I not massively keen myself but when I was looking for the car, this one was the right spec, the right history, the right mileage & the right price.

So I bought it & I don't give a sh1t about what anyone else thinks
