These plugs feature the most powerful magnets in the world and they knock the socks of their competitors and they look the business too!

All plugs are priced on our web site at 15.59 before 10% members discount (14.03 after discount!). Where possible club discount codes can be found in our signature, however if it's not then drop us a PM and we will let you know.

Once you have found your required plug then visit our Gold Plug section of our web site and add to your basket. If however you have any questions on these then feel free to give us a call on 01209 202949 or send us an email to [email protected] or just ask us on the forum and we will be happy to help.

I think I'll get one of these. Previously avoided as most weren't neodymium magnets and also i wasn't entirely convinced of how securely the magnet was fixed to the rest of the plug. But having done a little googling on gold plugs, seems like they dont have this issue.

I think the issues were with the cheap Chinese ones that were known for the magnet snapping off in the drainage hole

Do these fit on our E92's Paul?

Did you order 2? (there's 2 drain holes)

How many different metals are in the engine and how many are magnetic?

Hi

The only metal in the engine that a magnet is effective on is iron and as far as I am aware, the pistons and rings in a E92 M3 are iron. In E36s and E46s, the cylinder liners are also iron. The crank and various other components are iron, so a lot of the places where wear is going to take place is made of iron.

Cheers

I'm fairly certain the pistons for the S65 are aluminium. There does seems to be much value in using a magnetic plug for the S65 (E9X M3).

Where do you enter the discount code?

Found the most obvious place at check out but 'M3CUTTERS' is not a valid code??

I have just tried to order one of these too and it's telling me the M3CUTTERS is not a valid promo code?

Cheers

Sorry about that, the club discount code is M3C but it would make sense to have M3CUTTERS as a valid code as well. Both of these will now work.

Cheers

Just ordered one of these for my up and coming oil service cheers guys.

Went for the AP-11 as advised above.

My car is also a 2004 M3 with a Manual gearbox.

Do you advise changing the O ring after each service?

Thanks

Ash
