Subframe Update.......
Had an oppointment to pop the car over to **** Lovett Swindon, they originally wanted 150 to look at the car to see if it was cracked, i thought that was abit steep considering its a visual inspection that they'd probably do wrong anyway!! So the car was taken to [email protected] Motorsport who inspected it and found the crack, luckily i didnt cancel the BMW oppointment so rang them this morning and told the service guy that a crack was found and tbh im really pi55ed off with his 5hit attitude and they still want 150 to look at it! They also wanted to know where it was bought!!! And proof off service etc!
Well i made my excuses because i thought if its this much hassle now whats it going to be like with them ripping the bootfloor apart lol
So on Crapbags (Craig) recommendation i took it to Long Hanborough Mini- BMW bodyshop and to speak to the Bodyshop Manager- arrived n he's away all week but they went ahead and they confirmed the crack and have submitted the claim to BMW UK, also NO CHARGE!!
fingers crossed should hear within 1 week to 10 days!
They have said could be a resin repair as its borderline of 20mm or bootfloor panel?!
Wait n see- just waiting for the phonecall!?

Whilst waiting for the verdict from BMW (it'll be 1 week tomorrow) i took the boot apart to clean it up, the trims etc got a good clean and protection also the carpet got another mild clean and freshen up (not that it was dirty!)
The bootshut was cleaned in the main clean the car got soon after i purchased it and the car has barely been driven so i removed the OEM LED lights to clean inside the aperture.....
Drivers before cleaning....

Drivers after cleaning and 2 coats of Zaino Z2....

No dirty Passenger, but this is it after the Zaino....

The lights also got cleaned on the insides and refitted,
After everything refitted, also gave it another layer of collinite :-)....

I know there is a good chance that BMW will be stripping it all out for the bootfloor replacement but at least i know its mint now :-)

Pretty happy as the weather is supposed to be nice the next couple of weeks n be nice to have the roof down- looks pretty cool aswell imo
But cant wait to have the M back n start to put my mods on :-)
