Must admit, I never...totally forgot pal!

There was a white one available recently with Icons...but donít want white.

Been in touch with a few dealers and they say same thing...they donít spec cars with Icons because at £795 they are deemed an expensive option.

See that's odd logic to me. It's not a cheap option, yet they happily spec electric seats which is a similar cost?

My incoming car has seats and no icons as it was already ordered. If I had the choice I'd have taken icons over the seats all day long. My wife drives the car once in a blue moon, I don't tend to move it much otherwise!

Totally agree...the electric seats don't interest me.

That's the Car Wayne was looking at.

It's built and in the UK as a non-reg - it may be sold now.

I did a deal this morning. A pre-reg car with 10 miles on the clock, LCI, most options ticked giving a list of over 51k but discounted to 45k.

Got it for 6k down and 406 per month, 10k miles pa over 3 years, 28655 gfv. Very happy with that.

Is no one keeping the car at end of agreement? It sounds too good to be true, which means it usually is, specially when it comes to financial stuff. In this case, looks like a big sum of cash to be paid if you want to keep the car.

Most people will move onto another car before or at the end of term.

Personally, if I find the ownership of my M2 really something amazing over time, then I would consider selling my 996 in the future to help pay off the M2 and make that the keeper car rather than the 911.

I'm also considering moving to the M2 from my M4. The discounts so far that I've seen haven't been big enough to make it worthwhile though, if it's only going to be £50 a month less I'll keep the M4 for a bit longer or hand it back with voluntary termination.

Anyone managed to get more than 10%? I'm aiming for 15% to make it worthwhile but don't know if any dealers would bite at that level. On carwow they seem to offer 8% max.

Which dealer is currently offering 8%? I saw maximum of just over 2% at the end of last week. Doubt you will get anything like 15% on a new car. Even the best pre reg cars are at 13% and you then low 1% when you tax it so effectively 12% max. I'd be interested to hear if you do manage to get one at your target.

Don't know - the 8% figure is what I saw someone claimed on another site. So far I've been offered 1.2% on carwow at this level of discount, why would anyone buy an M2 over an M4 out of interest? Makes little sense.

I'd be happy with a pre-reg - do you know where I can get 13% off on one, please, which dealer?

I called two dealers, Sytner in Sunnydale is advertising a white car at £44k but it is sold and being collected tomorrow. Second one is at King's Lynn, also white, on at £43,988 but they say they need to hold it for three months as it is meant to be a demo. Many more around the Sytner group but they are pre LCI. There is also an unregistered LBB in the Barons group with a £5,705 saving to list but it is pre LCI.

Thanks a lot, looks like they don't have the LCI stock available to discount. Guess I'll do a voluntary termination on my M4 and sit it out for a few months, not really in a hurry anyway.

Are these pre- registered or unregistered?

Guess they are low spec and manual?

Pre-registered.

No, all DCT. The Sytner car has electric seats, seat heating, sun protection glass, folding mirrors, reverse camera, HK & speed limit display. The King's Lynn car the same bar the electric seats.
