Default Csl rear diffuser... But fully painted!

I've been on the fencer for a while on carbon bits on my car (techno Violet) I have the bootlid but I really like the CSL diffuser but not too sure if I want carbon bits on it.

Would having a fully painted csl diffuser be just wrong??? Just considering it as half of them have to be painted in any case

I too have contemplated this.
Don't necessarily want the cf showing, in which case is there any point getting one.
Or is the whole point of these to have the it showing as 99.99% seem to.
Would like to see one fully painted, if for no other reason, to help me make my mind up.

I considered this as I to don't overly like carbon fibre look. I however left the actual surround in carbon and had the rest painted and I'm glad I did as I now feel the carbon look adds a kinda classy touch.

What isn't classy though is the fit of it......bloody pain in the arse thing. I'm considering getting a company to blend it into bumper.

Have you any pics of your techno violet one? I love seeing individual m3s.

I think it looks better having the exhausts 'shrouded', ive never seen a fully painted one, someone must have done it??!!

Yea, I much prefer the shape of the CSL diffuser in shrouding the exhaust abit etc and also have a supersprint race exhaust so the standard bumper now being pretty much a parachute bugs me. Csl one doesn't make a huge difference to this but it'll help a little bit anyway

Makes it pointless buying an OEM except for bragging rights, makes a lot more sense to fully paint a copy

Thanks. Never really liked the 'cut out' nature of the bumper but don't want the CSL look either without the other bits to go with it. I actually like that and think it will look even better on CB bumper.

I have a front end respray being done from tomorrow and a diffuser in the garage that I wasn't sure whether to fit so seems like an opportunity to do something different....
