Default Exhaust allignment - am I being to fussy?!

My 435i has the MPE exhaust and I think the exhaust it sitting a little low.

It's an AUC and the dealership I bought from collected the car this week to sort a couple of little issues that weren't right when I bought the car. I did ask them to check the exhaust alignment but its seem they've done nothing.

The dealership is not local and have been pretty useless so I'm loathed to have to deal with them again tbh.

So 2 questions for you guys please:

1) I am being too fussy over what is probably .5 - 1 inch
2) Would this be covered under the AUC so I can take to my local dealership.

Thanks!

That does seem pretty low, compared to my 435i. I don't know how the dealerships in the UK are, but here I would think that if they check and they don't find anything broken, they won't bother too much about the height - if they do spot a torn exhaust hanger then I'm sure they will change it.

That's definitely too low, I've fitted my own MPE with a BCS mid pipe and had this exact problem. Simply undo the clamp yourself that connects the backbox to the midpipe and realign yourself. The midpipe may have been cut too short when fitting hence it being pulled back and down.

Thanks - I will give this a go . So if the midpipe was cut too short I have to live with it (or change the midpipe).

What difference did the BCS midpipe make?

A big difference. Too much of a difference in my opinion if you just want some more noise from the exhaust. Taking out the front muffler and leaving the resonator is the best option for the midpipe along side an MPE.

Thanks for the tip mate, was surprisingly easy. I stuck the performance diffuser on whilst I was there
