Default Drive DCT.....Please

Morning,

Sorry to be rude but would anyone be willing to let me drive there DCT?

I've 99% done a deal on a manual but a friend and reading on the forum makes me think I should drive a DCT before I do the deal.

I know it's a big ask but just think I need to know for sure.

I'm in Basingstoke, so anyone local it would be a massive help

Thanks
Mike

Probably easier to go to a dealer with one for sale, your after buying a car and not sure between Manual and DCT explain you've driven a Manual and would like to test the car they have with DCT for sale to help make a decision.

A dealer isn't going to decline a potential sale and then your insured, no risk to anyones car etc, etc.

If I can't get anyone too then 100% dealers at the weekend.
Found one I don't mind that's 27 miles away. There is 2 more local but they are very small traders and don't want to waste there time.

I will be buying private not from a dealer.

It doesn't matter if you like the colour or spec and it doesn't matter who you'll be buying it from. All you want to do is try the box so just go somewhere that has one for sale and take it for a blast. Just remember that you can get software upgrades for them and from what I have read it makes a world of difference.

Cheers

That's all I did... went to a dealer saying that I was interested in that particular car and took it for a spin. It helps turning up in an M3 too imo as they see that you're probably a bit more keen than others.
