Default Not the original plan

Well I wasn’t expecting my first BMW to be the s1000rr but with what’s happened over the last few weeks I’ve ended up with one......and I’m buzzing oot ma tits as they say up here.

2011 with just over 7k on the clock, dtc, abs, quick shift etc etc, I’m definitely looking forward to this one, I always said I’d have one and thought why now. I traded the KTM for it.

Brought the bike home on Wednesday there, rode the KTM down and rode the Beemer back.

Out for a short run yesterday whilst it was dry, originally the plan was to head off to the Doune hillclimb in the Evo with the family but the starter packed up, so bike it was.

Thanks mate, tbh itís not overly loud as the cat is still in place and itís some cat at that. Iím considering in time to go with the AR gp2r end can and decat which will sound awesome. The Yoshimura sound ms good whilst on full chat butnis perfectly fine around town and normal riding.

That's lovely mate, I dont think the new ones are a patch on the old ones from a looks perspective.
