Default Nurburgring 2018 trackday dates

Hi - anyone made any plans around the 2018 track days at the Ring yet?

Some dates here already:

https://www.bridgetogantry.com/nurbu...ing-trackdays/

Doesn't yet include Trackdays.de or Destination Nurburgring dates which are already on their own websites now.

Definitely going to go for Circuit Days @ 379 quid.

Hopefully there will be a lot more days added.

cheers

I'm booked on the April date with Circuit Days. At that price it was the obvious choice.

Definitely - the same CD event earlier this year was great although I prefer not to go for just 1 day events though - I'm looking at the Skylimits one that is also on the Friday before the CD event, although TF is not open at weekend as far as I can see so it means not doing much at the weekend.

Where have you seen the 2018 opening dates? I was hoping to get some TF laps as a reacquaintance that weekend prior to the CD event.

The sky limits day is a bit pricey for me never mind when I'm already paying for one trackday that week.

Not seen TF calendar yet but there is an events calendar that shows a Metzeler bike event (on the official Nurburgring website), so I just assumed.

The weekend prior is Easter so traditionally would be open Friday to Monday for TF. Incredibly busy though

I remember checking last year and Circuit Days were doing DN / UK style rules where no 3rd party liability applies, so you could either run without insurance or just insure your own damage if you wanted to. Skylimits (from memory) were not, so you could potentially have a comeback in a bump with another car. We got this confirmed in an email from the Skylimits contact at the time.

Have looked at Skylimits just now and cannot see any T&C's to see if its still the same - do you know if it still the same script with Skylimits now?

Thanks Dunc. Guessing there is no change but odd I couldn't access the t&c's via website.

It will almost certainly be just one trip for me and I am looking to be on DN20 in September. Hopefullly catch you guys for some laps then

Booked on for the 24th April. First time at the 'ring, very excited (and a bit nervous..), will happily buy someone a beer in exchange for some passenger laps!
