Default E92 M3 Competition Pack

So, I'm not really new as I've had 3 E46 M3's and an M2.

Been out of the game for a year, but started looking at a weekend car to go with my commuting i3, as that costs nothing to run /manmaths!

So I started looking on here, Pistonheads and Autotrader in November with the idea of a buying a cheap E92 as a weekend car.

Of course, over the next 2 months I upped my budget to meet the spec and requirements that I suddenly decided I needed (DCT, HK, Comp pack, Low miles)

I'd seen a car for sale for a while in Aberdeen, which apart from being 440 miles away from Surrey was perfect, April 2013 build, 35k miles, still under service pack, full BMW history, Carbon spoiler, Alcantara interior and the owner worked away so had barely driven it - it had been stored in a heated garage and done circa 2k miles in a year.

Long story shortened slightly, I flew up on Saturday with my Girlfriend, did the deal after a test drive and some messing about to pay off the BMW finance (They wont take a debit card except from the owner) and drove home stopping for a couple of nights in Edinburgh on the way.

More pics to come, but the drive back was perfect - what was the first thing I did when I got home? wash it!

/D

A couple of pics from the Advert for now:

Seen this advertised locally and looked a really good example with the spec and mileage of it, didn`t think it would hang around long.... Glad your enjoying it so far and hopefully many more happy miles!

Thanks for the comments everyone

Did think about just driving back, but seemed a good excuse to have a look around!

Its all been trimmed in Alcantara like the M-Performance interior, I was a bit skeptical but it looks OEM and immaculate, sadly I don't know who did it as there was only receipts from BMW for the Spoiler, Steering wheel and Grills.

I believe the exhaust tips have been changed too, I think its a standard exhaust though.

I'm a bit of a serial car changer so no doubt I'll get bored after 6 months but right now I'm loving it!

Congrats mate, looks nice. I did similar to you, flew to Scotland and picked my car up from Kilmarnock then drove it down to the midlands the same day.
